The Finzean Estate covers many thousands of acres but has never enjoyed the benefit of a Dower House. With our client’s son, a Merchant Banker, returning to live and work on the Estate a home had to be found for his parents and therefore Glenferrick Lodge was created. A ruined cottage site close to the Estate House with magnificent views to the west up Feughside and to the Grampian hills was used as the basis to gain planning consenr & thus a new Dower House could be built.
