Aboyne Skate Park, Aboyne, Aberdeenshire - Aboyne SkatePark Committee
This Committee having already developed a play area for children turned its attention to teenagers.  Following a survey a need for a Skate Park was established and after visiting many skate parks throughout Scotland the teenagers themselves with assistance from MRA designed the Skate Park which has now achieved planning consent.  Substantial sums of money were then gifted to the Committee in two bequests allowing the project to proceed with construction expected in 2007.
